Airstream® Horizontal Laminar Flow Clean Bench (LHG)

Description

The Airstream Horizontal Laminar Flow Clean Bench (LHG/LHS series) from Esco Technologies is designed to provide a particulate-free, ISO Class 3 work zone for sample or product protection. It generates a horizontal, unidirectional airflow across the work surface. This model is offered in several exterior width options: 40.8, 52.8, 64.8, 76.8, and 99.2 inches. The exterior depth is 31.0 inches, and the height is available in either 50.0 or 56.0 inches, with an additional stand height adjustable from 28 to 35 inches. The interior work area correspondingly offers widths of 35.4, 47.4, 59.4, 71.4, and 93.8 inches, with a depth of 24.4 inches and a height of either 28.5 or 34.5 inches. The airflow velocity across the work surface is maintained at 90 feet per minute (0.45 meters per second). The cabinet uses an ULPA filter for air filtration and features an automatic airflow compensation system to maintain consistent velocity as the filter loads. An energy-efficient DC-ECM blower manages airflow. The interior includes an antimicrobial coating and a durable steel plenum. The work surface incorporates a dished tray to contain spills. Lighting is provided by LEDs with an intensity greater than 84 foot-candles (900 lux). The control panel is centered and angled downward for operator convenience, and the design places the blower plenum above the work zone to allow for full legroom underneath.
