Description

The Airfiltronix RF-5000 is a portable tabletop enclosure that creates a localized clean environment by utilizing a reverse (downward) laminar airflow. This design delivers particle-free air, rated better than Class 100, over the work area to protect sensitive samples or instruments from contamination at a fraction of the cost of a full-scale cleanroom. The system incorporates a HEPA filter rated at 99.99% efficiency for particles 0.3 microns and larger. A variable speed control allows adjustment of the airflow velocity when working with particularly delicate materials. The enclosure is constructed with a clear acrylic body and front door for visibility, supported by an aluminum frame and a half-inch white polyethylene floor. Overall exterior dimensions are 30 inches wide, 26.5 inches deep, and 33.5 inches high, with an interior work volume of 28.5 inches wide, 25.5 inches deep, and 18 inches high. A model with a microscope cutout (RF-5000C) is also available.
