Description

The Airfiltronix GB-36 is a portable containment hood engineered as a cost-effective biohazard enclosure for procedures such as inspecting mail or small packages. It operates under negative pressure, with a HEPA-filtered exhaust system ensuring that air from within the enclosure cannot escape into the laboratory environment. Glove ports on the front panel allow the operator to manipulate contents without direct contact. The unit features self-supporting, hinged access doors on both the left and right sides for passing items in and out. The front panel is removable to facilitate interior cleaning. Constructed with a half-inch thick polyethylene floor, the work surface is durable and easy to decontaminate. Exterior dimensions are 36 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 32.5 inches high, providing an interior workspace measuring 34 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and 23 inches high.
