Description
The AireGard ES NU-340 by NuAire is a horizontal laminar airflow cabinet engineered to maintain an uncontaminated workspace for product integrity. It utilizes a horizontal airflow pattern where air passes through a HEPA filter and moves across the enclosure in a smooth, laminar fashion. The workstation is configurable in multiple widths, typically including 3-foot, 4-foot, 5-foot, and 6-foot options, to accommodate various equipment and procedural scales. Its primary function is to protect sensitive materials, such as cell cultures or sterile components, from environmental particulates during handling. Standard illumination is provided by fluorescent fixtures, with an energy-saving LED lighting system available. As with all horizontal laminar flow benches, the NU-340 provides no personnel protection and is not designed for use with hazardous or infectious agents.
