Description

The NuAire AireGard ES NU-140 is a vertical laminar airflow workstation designed to provide a clean, particle-free environment for sensitive procedures. It is engineered to meet ISO 14644-1 standards for air cleanliness, making it suitable for applications such as preparing injectable pharmaceuticals, IV admixtures, tissue culture work, and handling microelectronics or optical components. The unit features a vertical airflow pattern that directs HEPA-filtered air downward over the work area, protecting the product from airborne contamination. It is important to note that this clean bench is intended for product protection only and does not offer operator protection; therefore, it must not be used with biological agents classified at CDC Risk Levels 1 through 4. The workstation is configured as a tabletop unit, with an optional base stand available to adjust the work surface height to either 30 inches (762 mm) or 36 inches (914 mm).
