Airclean Independence ductless fume hoods are self-contained ventilation enclosures designed to protect users from exposure to hazardous vapors, gases, and particulates generated during laboratory procedures. Unlike traditional ducted hoods, they do not require external exhaust ductwork. Instead, they employ a filtration system to capture and contain contaminants internally. Air is drawn from the front opening, passed through one or more specialized filters—such as activated carbon or HEPA filters—and then recirculated back into the laboratory as clean air.
