Description

The PCE-RCM 10 is a handheld, multifunctional monitor for evaluating air quality by measuring particulate matter concentrations. It detects both PM2.5 and PM10 particles, with a measuring range of 0 to 999 µg/m³ for each size fraction and a resolution of 1 µg/m³. Additionally, the device records air temperature (32 to 104°F) and relative humidity. All data is displayed concurrently on a 2.4-inch full-color LCD screen. A visual color-coding system—using green, yellow, orange, and red—helps users quickly interpret PM concentration levels and identify potentially hazardous conditions. The instrument can operate on its internal rechargeable battery, providing approximately five hours of continuous use, or it can be powered indefinitely via its USB connection, which also serves to charge the battery. This portability and dual power option make it applicable for field assessments and indoor air quality investigations in various professional and industrial environments.
