Description

The PCE-RCM 01 is a compact monitoring device designed to assess indoor air quality by measuring carbon monoxide (CO) concentration, temperature, and relative humidity. It is suitable for use in various environments such as homes, offices, schools, and workshops. The instrument detects CO levels from 0 to 500 ppm with a resolution of 1 ppm. It simultaneously monitors ambient temperature within a range of -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F) and relative humidity from 20% to 85%, with the temperature display configurable in Celsius or Fahrenheit. All parameters are shown on a 2-inch LCD screen. For user safety, the device incorporates a visual traffic-light indicator: green for 0-100 ppm, orange for 101-200 ppm, and red for 201-500 ppm. If concentrations exceed 100 ppm, an audible alarm activates alongside the visual warning. Power is supplied by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which can be charged via a USB-C port. The unit features a carrying strap and has dimensions of 70 x 70 x 28 mm (2.8 x 2.8 x 1.1 inches), facilitating portable use.
