Description

The AS 200 jet from Verder Scientific is an air jet sieving machine for the dry sieving analysis of fine powders. It utilizes a powerful air jet, generated by an integrated vacuum system, to disperse and deagglomerate particles, facilitating their passage through test sieves. The system is designed for a measuring range from approximately 10 micrometers to 4 millimeters, with a typical sample capacity between 0.3 and 100 grams. Operational parameters such as sieving time, vacuum level, and nozzle speed can be digitally adjusted and stored in up to ten standard operating procedure (SOP) profiles for reproducibility. An 'Open Mesh' function helps reduce the number of near-mesh particles clinging to the sieve. The design includes an integrated silencer for quieter operation. Optional accessories include an automatic pressure regulator and EasySieve software for instrument control and data documentation via a serial interface.
