Description
The Agilent BioTek Synergy Neo2 is a high-performance hybrid multimode reader supporting an extensive range of microplate formats, from 1 to 1536 wells. It employs proprietary Hybrid Technology, featuring independent optical pathways with quad monochromators for fluorescence (offering variable bandwidth), high-transmission filters, and up to four photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) for rapid, parallel detection. Its reading modes encompass UV-Vis absorbance (230-999 nm), fluorescence intensity, luminescence, fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence (including laser-based TRF), and Alpha assays. The system is equipped with advanced environmental controls, supporting incubation up to 70°C, variable shaking, and optional control of CO2 and O2 levels for live cell analysis. For automated workflows, it can be integrated with the BioStack Neo microplate stacker. Instrument operation and data processing are managed by Agilent BioTek Gen6 software, which facilitates reader control, complex data analysis, and reporting.
