Description

The Agilent BioTek MultiFlo FX is an automated liquid handling system designed for dispensing reagents into microplates ranging from 6 to 1536 wells. It supports a broad volume range, from 500 nanoliters to 30 microliters per well. The instrument's modular architecture incorporates several distinct dispensing technologies. These include Parallel Dispense for high-throughput workflows, random access dispense (RAD) for flexible reagent delivery, and patented Automated Media Exchange (AMX) modules specifically for 3D cell culture applications like spheroids and tumoroids. By integrating these capabilities, the MultiFlo FX can perform tasks associated with multiple standalone liquid handlers, potentially consolidating laboratory instrumentation.
