Agilent BioTek Lionheart FX Automated Microscope

Description

The Agilent BioTek Lionheart FX is a compact, automated microscope system for cell imaging applications. It integrates multiple imaging modalities, including fluorescence, brightfield, color brightfield, and phase contrast, to support a broad range of assays. The system offers magnification options up to 60x with an air objective and 100x with oil immersion. Illumination is provided by user-replaceable LEDs across multiple wavelengths (365, 390, 405, 465, 505, 523, 590, 623, 655, and 740 nm). For live-cell studies, an optional environmental control cover can maintain temperatures up to 40°C and regulate CO2/O2 levels. A dedicated humidity chamber is also available to optimize conditions for extended time-lapse experiments. An optional dual reagent injector module enables the addition of compounds for rapid kinetic assays. The system is operated using Agilent's Gen5 3.0 software.
