Description

The Aeris Minerals Edition is a benchtop X-ray diffractometer tailored for mineral processing and ore beneficiation. This Malvern Panalytical system monitors mineral phases and tracks key process parameters. It is equipped with a cobalt (Co) X-ray tube and can be configured with PIXcel 1D or PIXcel3D detectors. The X-ray generator offers flexibility with choices between copper or cobalt wavelengths and power settings ranging from 300 W to 600 W. Angular movement is managed by a DOPS2 goniometer with Heidenhain encoders. Designed for operational simplicity, it features a touchscreen interface and does not require an external cooling system. For higher throughput, it supports automation via sample belts or robots and offers an optional six-position changer. With an IP40 dust ingress protection rating, it is suited for rugged environments. Measurement times are generally under ten minutes per sample.
