The AccuSizer SIS Liquid Particle Counter System from Entegris is a high-resolution analytical instrument designed for precise particle counting and sizing in liquid suspensions. It employs Single Particle Optical Sizing (SPOS) technology, which measures individual particles directly as they pass through a sensor. This method provides accurate particle concentration results in particles per milliliter and offers exceptional resolution, capable of distinguishing closely spaced particle sizes and detecting trace populations, such as distribution tails. The system is particularly suited for compliance testing per USP chapters <787>, <788>, and <789>. It features a syringe pump for precise sample handling with volumes as low as 150 µL. The SIS configuration includes a dual-sensor setup, typically combining an LE400 sensor with an FX-Nano sensor, enabling a broad measuring range from 0.15 µm (150 nm) up to 400 µm.
