AAF Standard Ashing Furnace

Description

The AAF Standard Ashing Furnace from Verder Scientific is a chamber furnace intended for sample preparation and thermal processing. It is applicable for procedures including ashing, loss on ignition, pyrolysis, sterilization, combustion, calcination, materials testing, and debinding. The unit has a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C and is available in multiple chamber capacity configurations. Construction features include wire heating elements protected by an alumina-based liner, with graded winding designed to promote uniform temperature distribution. An air inlet and chimney system facilitate several air changes per minute. Optional features may include a catalytic afterburner, viewport, thermocouple calibration port, flowmeter, and various safety controls.
