Description

This 96-well filter plate from Promega is designed for filtration and clarification of samples in a high-throughput format. Each well has a capacity of 2 mL and is fitted with a 0.2 micrometer pore size membrane made from wettable, woven PTFE (wwPTFE). This membrane material is hydrophobic and chemically resistant, suitable for filtering aqueous and organic solvents. The plate is commonly used for sterile filtration, cell lysate clarification, or removing particulates prior to analysis. It is sold in a pack of five units.
