9 position MULTIVAP® Dry Bath

Description

Organomation's 9-position MULTIVAP is a benchtop nitrogen evaporator that uses a heated aluminum dry block to concentrate samples. The unit is configured to hold nine 100 mL beakers (50 mm outer diameter), which are included, facilitating the processing of large-volume samples. An optional accessory block (Catalog# NA1891) allows for the use of other glassware types with capacities up to approximately 150 mL. Temperature is digitally controlled across a range from 30°C to 120°C, accommodating solvents with higher boiling points. A gas distribution manifold delivers a continuous and even flow of nitrogen to each sample position via individual stainless steel needles. To conserve gas, the manifold includes toggle switches that allow users to independently shut off each row of three sample positions. This design makes the instrument suitable for laboratories requiring efficient evaporation of multiple large samples. Models constructed with acid-resistant and Teflon-free components are available for applications such as PFAS analysis where chemical inertness is critical.
