Description

The 4titude Individual Access 96-well plate is a skirted, low-profile consumable designed for PCR, qPCR, and NGS workflows. Its defining feature is a modular design where 0.1 ml clear polypropylene tubes are individually inserted into a rigid white polycarbonate frame. Each tube can be clicked into place for security and later removed independently, allowing specific samples to be accessed without disturbing the entire plate. This is particularly beneficial for reducing freeze-thaw cycles during sample retrieval from storage. The flat-bottom wells are each marked with a unique 2D code on the base, providing a reliable method for sample tracking that is superior to cap or seal labeling, especially in diagnostic and clinical applications. The plate has a cut corner at position H1 for orientation and features a fully skirted, SBS-compliant footprint for robotic handling. With a working volume under 100 µl and a total well capacity of 180 µl, it is suited for small-volume applications. The consumable is certified free from DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxins. Empty frames (catalog numbers with -F suffix) are available for tube transfer and can be reused. The entire plate can be sealed in one step using a compatible pierceable heat seal, resulting in individually sealed tubes that remain separable.
