4titude FrameStar® Breakable Vertically PCR Plate

Description

The 4titude FrameStar Breakable Vertically PCR Plate is a semi-skirted 96-well plate designed to be separated into strips of eight tubes. It features vertical scoring lines that allow it to be snapped into smaller sections or full vertical strips. Constructed with standard-profile 0.2 ml polypropylene wells and a polycarbonate frame, it has a working volume under 200 µl and a maximum capacity of 300 µl. The two-component design aims to combine the thermal performance of thin-walled tubes with the handling ease of a rigid frame, helping to prevent strip distortion. The plate includes end tabs for labeling and handling and an alphanumeric grid for sample identification. It is certified free from DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxins. Available in several frame colors (purple, blue, clear, green, red, white, black) with clear or white wells, it is compatible with most thermal cyclers and standard multichannel pipettes. A variant with white wells is offered for optical assays like qPCR.
