4titude FrameStar® Breakable Horizontally and Vertically PCR Plate

Description

This 96-well PCR plate from the 4titude FrameStar series offers versatile formatting through pre-scored break lines. It can be separated both vertically and horizontally into full strips, partial strips, or individual tubes, providing flexibility for various experimental setups. The plate uses a standard profile with 0.2 ml polypropylene wells and a polycarbonate frame, offering a working volume under 200 µl and a total capacity of 300 µl. The breakable design aims to reduce waste by allowing users to utilize only the required number of wells. Separation via snapping is intended to be more precise and safer than cutting, helping to preserve sealing surfaces and prevent well contamination. The thin-walled wells are designed for efficient thermal cycling in PCR, qPCR, and NGS applications. The plate is free from common contaminants like DNase and RNase. It is compatible with instruments that accept non-skirted, standard-profile plates, though end tabs may need removal for some devices. Standard multichannel pipettes can be used with this format.
