Description

This 96-well plate is designed for applications that combine optical detection with PCR. It features a fully skirted polycarbonate frame and low-profile wells with flat, optically clear bottoms. The flat bottom is suitable for microscopy, single-cell sorting followed by molecular analysis, and the stable storage of small-volume compound libraries. The wells are stackable without risking damage to seals on plates below. The low-profile 0.1 ml polypropylene wells reduce the air gap to the thermal cycler lid, minimizing condensation for more efficient low-volume reactions (recommended for volumes below 20 µl). The working volume is under 100 µl, with a total well capacity of 180 µl. The rigid skirted frame provides excellent dimensional stability during thermal cycling and is compatible with robotic systems. The plate is manufactured free of DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxins. It includes an alphanumeric grid for sample identification, a cut corner at H1 for orientation, and is compatible with standard multichannel pipettes. An optional version with individually detachable and sealable wells is available, and plates can be supplied with barcodes upon request.
