Description

This variant of the Roche-style low-profile PCR plate is optimized for maximum sensitivity in fluorescent detection assays. It retains the core design features for use with Roche LightCycler 96 and 480 systems, including 0.1 ml polypropylene wells and a rigid polycarbonate frame. The key differentiator is the use of extra-white well material, which enhances light reflection and collection to improve the signal-to-noise ratio in qPCR and other fluorescent applications. The low-profile well design minimizes dead air space, reducing condensation for more consistent low-volume reactions (10-100 µl, recommended below 20 µl). The working volume is under 100 µl, with a total well capacity of 200 µl. The plate is manufactured to be free of DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxins. Its semi-skirted frame accommodates labeling and barcoding for sample tracking. The plate is suitable for robotic automation and works with standard multichannel pipettes. It is available in a clear frame with extra-white wells and can be supplied in combi packs with sealing films or with barcodes upon request.
