Description

This is an optically clear, peelable laminate film designed for heat-sealing a variety of microplates. It provides a complete seal for applications requiring full integrity, such as PCR, qPCR, sample storage, and optical detection. The seal is compatible with plates made from polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, and cyclic olefin copolymer (COC). Its optical clarity makes it suitable for imaging, fluorescent detection (including qPCR), and colorimetric assays. The seal maintains integrity across a broad temperature range, from -80°C to 80°C, and can withstand up to 110°C when used with a pressurized heated lid during PCR. It is free from DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxins. The product is offered in both sheet and roll formats to accommodate manual, semi-automated, and fully automated heat sealers. Sheet dimensions are 125 x 78 mm, fitting standard SBS-footprint plates. Sheets are typically interleaved with paper for easier handling. A non-sterile version is standard, with sterilization available upon request.
