4titude 96 Well Optically Clear Tissue Culture Plate

Description

Designed for high-content screening and sensitive optical assays, this 96-well microplate features a black frame and a 190µm thick, optically clear polystyrene base. It is engineered for bottom-read measurements in applications such as fluorescence intensity, FRET, TR-FRET, and colorimetric assays within the 400-900nm wavelength range. A patented laser welding assembly method is used to minimize autofluorescence and prevent inhibition of cell growth. The plate is free from DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and cytotoxic agents. For cell-based work, a tissue-culture (TC) treated version (4ti-0221) provides consistent cell adhesion across wells. The flat, clear base ensures good signal-to-noise ratios and makes the plate suitable for confocal microscopy by reducing optical crosstalk. It has an SBS footprint and is compatible with major plate readers. To maintain sterility during repeated imaging, an optically clear adhesive seal (4ti-0516/96) is recommended. Most plates are supplied pre-sterilized, with the exception of catalog 4ti-0224. Barcoding is available upon request.
