Azenta Life Sciences offers this 96-square deep well storage microplate for high-density sample collection in cell biology, molecular biology, and drug discovery research. Constructed from clear, medical-grade polypropylene, the plate is contaminant-free and resistant to chemicals like DMSO. It is available in three configurations: a 1.2ml U-bottom plate (4ti-0126), a 2.2ml V-bottom plate (4ti-0132), and a 2.2ml U-bottom plate (4ti-0136). The square well design maximizes plate space and improves mixing efficiency. The U-bottom geometry is recommended for washing and pelleting steps, while the conical V-bottom is suited for precipitation and small-volume recovery, as liquid collects at the tip. The plate 4ti-0126 is also compatible with KingFisher platforms for elution. All plates feature an SBS footprint, an alphanumeric grid, and an ultra-flat sealing surface. They can be used with adhesive seals, heat seals, or a dedicated silicone sealing mat (4ti-0137). The plates are autoclavable and functional across a temperature spectrum from -80°C to 120°C. Standard units are non-sterile, but sterilization and barcoding can be requested.
