Description

The 4titude 96-round deep well storage microplate is a polypropylene plate intended for sample storage and processing. It conforms to the SBS footprint for compatibility with automated systems and is suitable for applications like Illumina library preparation and magnetic bead separations. The plates are offered in two primary well volumes: 1.2ml (catalog 4ti-0120) and 2.0ml (catalog 4ti-0130), both featuring round wells with U-shaped bottoms to facilitate liquid mixing and reduce droplet effects. Manufactured in a controlled environment, the plates are free from RNase, DNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxins. The medical-grade polypropylene provides chemical resistance against substances like DMSO and allows for autoclaving. The plates have an ultra-flat rim to ensure a uniform seal with adhesive films, heat seals, or the companion silicone sealing mats (4ti-0135 for 1.2ml plates, 4ti-0138 for 2.0ml plates). An alphanumeric grid aids sample tracking. These plates are stackable and have an operational temperature range from -80°C to 120°C. They are supplied non-sterile by default, with sterilization and barcoding available as options.
