Description

The 4titude 384 Well Ultra Optically Clear Plate is an assay plate engineered for maximum optical performance in ultraviolet and low-wavelength applications. Its defining characteristic is an ultra-clear polymer base that provides exceptionally low absorbance and high light transmission, resulting in low background signals and an optimized signal-to-noise ratio. This enhanced clarity is particularly beneficial for measurements at short wavelengths, such as DNA quantification at 260/280 nm, enabling these assays to be performed in medium- to high-throughput formats. The plate features a black frame to minimize cross-talk and an alphanumeric grid for sample identification. To protect the optical surface during handling, the base is covered by a peel-back film that guards against scratches. The plate is certified to be free of DNase, RNase, and human genomic DNA. It conforms to the SBS footprint standard and is compatible with adhesive and heat sealing methods.
