The 4titude 384 Square Deep Well Storage Microplate is a high-density polypropylene consumable designed for sample collection, storage, and processing in life science research. It features 384 square-shaped wells, each with a V-shaped conical bottom and a nominal volume of 190 microliters. The square well geometry maximizes storage space and facilitates mixing, while the conical V-bottom ensures complete liquid recovery during pipetting, making it suitable for precipitation, centrifugation, and small-volume applications. The plate is constructed from medical-grade virgin polypropylene, a material selected for its low biomolecular binding, chemical resistance to substances like DMSO, phenol, and chloroform, and a broad operational temperature range from -80°C to 120°C, including autoclave compatibility. It is manufactured in a controlled environment certified to be free of RNase, DNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxins. The plate design includes an alphanumeric grid for well identification, an ultra-flat rim for reliable sealing with adhesive films, heat seals, or a compatible silicone sealing mat (catalog 4ti-0139), and is stackable for efficient storage. Standard plates are non-sterile, though sterilization and barcoding are available upon request.
