Designed to expand the capabilities of a permeation system, the 491Flex Auxiliary Permeation Oven Module (PM) from KIN-TEK Analytical operates as an independently controlled unit. It functions in series with a 491Flex Base Module, allowing users to increase the total number of permeation ovens within a single calibration setup. This modular approach enables the simultaneous generation of gas mixtures from multiple Trace Source permeation or diffusion tubes. Each PM module provides precise temperature control for its housed tube, which is essential for maintaining a consistent and known emission rate. By adding these auxiliary modules, laboratories can create more complex multi-component calibration standards or run several calibration points concurrently, enhancing the flexibility and throughput of gas standard preparation.
