OHAUS Corporation's 4 Block Dry Block Heaters are benchtop instruments used for heating samples in tubes or vials. The unit features a heating block divided into four separate chambers, each capable of accepting an interchangeable modular insert. Over forty different block types are available to accommodate a wide range of tube sizes and formats. The heater provides temperature control from 5°C above ambient room temperature up to 150°C. The design of the blocks aims for close contact with sample tubes to promote efficient heat transfer. The instrument is offered in both digital and non-digital models. Digital versions provide precise temperature control and stability for applications requiring repeatable results, while the analog models offer a more economical option. The overall dimensions of the unit are 8 inches wide by 16.9 inches deep by 3.5 inches high. Blocks can be swapped without the use of tools.
