Description

The HTA 3100A Liquid GC Autoinjector is a rotating-head autosampler that automates sample introduction for gas chromatography and GC/MS instruments. It is engineered for compatibility with a wide range of GC models from different manufacturers and can be configured to control up to two injectors. The unit processes batches of up to 15 samples stored in standard 2 mL vials. Injection volumes can be set from 0.1 to 100 microliters. Operational control is managed through a dedicated keypad with a single-button start-stop function and a color-coded status indicator; more detailed parameter sets can be configured via connected PC software. The autosampler supports several injection techniques, including the internal standard (sandwich) method, priority injection, ambient headspace, and nanoliter-volume injections, allowing optimization for samples of varying volatility and viscosity. Similar to other models in the series, it incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) features for self-diagnostics, predictive maintenance, workflow optimization, and tracking of consumables like syringe parts and inlet septa. Its design facilitates relocation between different GC instruments as laboratory needs change.
