Description

The Glas-Col 3-D Floor Shakers are designed to automate the vigorous agitation of large separatory funnels, replacing manual shaking which can be both time-consuming and physically demanding. These units employ a three-dimensional motion that moves liquids in multiple directions—upward, downward, sideways, and in a circular pattern—to ensure thorough mixing and extraction. A single shaker can accommodate a load of up to eight 2-liter funnels without requiring sample balancing. The rack design is engineered to minimize stress on funnel stopcocks and drain points, which helps reduce the risk of glassware breakage. With a maximum load capacity of 80 pounds, these floor-standing models are suitable for high-volume sample processing. The system can also be adapted with custom fittings to hold various other types of laboratory vessels beyond standard funnels.
