Description

Organomation's 24-position N-EVAP nitrogen evaporator is a widely used system for sample concentration. It employs a combination of nitrogen gas blowdown and a heated bath—either water or dry—to gently remove solvents. The unit is designed to process 24 samples concurrently and features an adjustable spring mechanism within its sample holder, enabling it to accommodate a variety of tube and vial sizes in a single run. This makes it practical for laboratories managing multiple analytical processes. Individual needle valves provide precise control over the nitrogen flow rate to each sample position, which can help conserve gas. The needles can be raised and lowered independently, allowing for flexible operation. The system has a flow rate capacity of 8 liters per minute and overall dimensions of 16 x 15 x 33 inches (WxDxH). An optional large sample holder is available for vials with outer diameters between 30 and 70 mm. In addition to the standard heated model, configurations include dry bath, unheated, acid-resistant, and Teflon-free versions suitable for PFAS testing.
