Promega supplies this 1.2 mL deep well plate, which features a round-bottom well design. The plate is configured in a standard 96-well format and is commonly used for sample storage, mixing, and various liquid handling procedures in automated workflows. The deep well geometry accommodates larger volumes than typical microplates, making it useful for protocols involving cell lysates, PCR master mixes, or bead-based purification. Each case contains 50 plates. While applicable to general laboratory use, this plate is also compatible with specific automated systems for nucleic acid isolation.
