Paraytec is a UK based scientific instrument company designing, developing and manufacturing the award winning ActiPixâ„¢ brand of ultra-violet (UV) area imaging detectors. Our detectors use capillaries in conjunction with sophisticated optics and Active Pixel area sensors resulting in high sensitivity UV detection for use in a variety of life science application areas including proteomics, molecular sizing, biopharmaceutical analysis and microfluidics detection. The detector can be used with simple micro-syringes and/or existing separations hardware including capillary electrophoresis (CE) systems, nano- and capillary LC systems to enable high sensitivity across a wide dynamic range without sacrificing spatial resolution.
